Third Éditions Launch Monkey Island Book Kickstarter

A few years ago French writer Nicolas Deneschau proposed a book about Monkey Island to publishers Third Éditions. This month, a Kickstarter has been launched to translate The Mysteries of Monkey Island into English, and at the time of writing has raised almost four times the required backing!
Founded in 2015 by Nicolas Courcier and Mehdi El Kanafi, Third Éditions is a French publisher dedicated to video games and popular culture. Nicolas Deneschau, meanwhile, has previously written books on Uncharted and The Last of Us, while the original French language version, Les mystères de Monkey Island: A l’abordage des pirates, has already been published.
In the Kickstarter video, Deneschau explains the idea behind The Mysteries of Monkey Island and explains why Kickstarter exists (translation is expensive, basically). Different versions are available depending on how much you want to pay to back the project, with a €12 ebook edition, €34 standard edition, and €39 standard edition with cover art by Steve Purcell (who did the cover art on the first two Monkey Island games).
There is also a €99 first print edition with art print and even a €1000 version with a personalized dedication.
