With data scraped by BestOnlineCasinos.ca, we can now reveal the highest and lowest rated games within the Super Mario franchise.
Highest Rated: Super Mario World
Released five years after Super Mario Bros., Super Mario World rated the highest rated game in the franchise, with an amazing IMDb rating of 9.3/10. It’s the game that first saw the introduction of the green dinosaur Yoshi, and a game that invokes instant nostalgia, with some users stating, ‘I’ll be playing it even when I have great grandchildren.’
In second is Super Mario Bros. 3, with a rating of 9.2/10, while Super Mario 64 takes third place with a rating of 9.1/10. Known for revolutionising the Nintendo64 console, users were quick to crown this as their ‘favourite childhood gaming experience.’
Lowest Rated: Super Mario Run
Released in 2016, Super Mario Run takes bottom spot with a poor 6.2/10. Released on iOS and Android, this was the first mobile game released by Nintendo. However, users were quick to complain about the originality of the game.

Updates, mini-games or DLCs were also omitted from the study.
What do you think? Do you agree with the results? How would you rate the games?
