We talk about GoldenEye 007 a lot, but there is a reason for that: it is one of the most influential games of its era. FPS games all the way back to DOOM make a crucial diversion via GoldenEye 007, a game developed by a young team at Rare in the mid-1990s.

Developed in a farmhouse in Warwickshire by a small ragtag team of university graduates, most of whom had never worked on a game before, this iconic first-person shooter surpassed all expectations and went on to change gaming forever.
