Gamer Shows Off Impressive Free Games Collection… From Cereal Boxes?

Reddit user MathiasThomasII recently posted a collection of free games they collected from cereal packets over the years on r/gaming.

Posts like this always promote great discussions, and the comments are full of users talking about other games they found nestled in their sugary treats. One person even claims they found Roller Coaster Tycoon. That’s quite a find!

Some users in the comments have pointed out that it’s unlikely all of these came from breakfast boxes, but it’s a nostalgic collection regardless.

I’m unfamiliar with most of the games pictured, but you can’t go wrong with the Atari Arcade Hits collections. Break Out (top left) is Atari’s take on Pong with a story. It’s fun, crazy, and far better than it has any right to be.

Toys rattling around in boxes of sugary cereal were a morning highlight in the 90s. Mine never contained video games, but one thing is for sure, breakfast was much cooler back then! Maybe one day, these will make a comeback, but nowadays, they would probably be relegated to download codes.
