Cult Classic Little Big Adventure Remastered In Unreal Engine 5

Little Big Adventure 1 & 2 are getting remastered, and a demo of the first title will be playable in June.

Little Big Adventure is a cult classic isometric adventure game. The title came out in 1994 on PC and PlayStation and was developed by Adeline Software International. The game quickly amassed quite the fan base thanks to its unique blend of puzzle-solving, platforming, and even stealth elements. The original was successful enough to warrant a sequel released on PC only.

Developer [2.21] now owns the rights to the IP and has been hard at work rebuilding the titles in Unreal Engine 5. The official demo teaser trailer on YouTube shows off a short gameplay sequence, and it looks absolutely gorgeous.

On Steam, both original Little Big Adventure titles have been renamed ‘Twinsen’s Little Big Adventure Classic 1 & 2.’ This subtle name change is to prevent confusion with Sony’s Little Big Planet series.

If you want to try Twinsens Little Big Adventure Remastered yourself, you won’t have to wait long. A demo of the first title will be available as part of Steam’s Next Fest in June. Next Fest is a celebration of upcoming games on the platform and takes place from June 19 to June 26. The demo is likely to disappear when Next Fest ends, so make sure you set a reminder for this one.
