More N64 Switch Online Games Announced at Nintendo Direct

Yesterday’s Nintendo Direct was packed full of new games to look forward to, with more N64 Switch Online titles lining up alongside current gen games.
Nintendo announced that nine additional N64 titles will be added to the Expansion Pack for Nintendo Switch Online. These will release over the rest of 2022, going into 2023. However, no exact drop dates were revealed just yet.
For the remainder of 2022, we will see Pilotwings 64, Mario Party and Mario Party 2 launch for NSO. A great time for a retro themed get-together! Joining them in 2023 will be Mario Party 3, Pokemon Stadium, Pokemon Stadium 2, 1080 Snowboarding and Excitebike 64.
But it doesn’t stop there, as there’s one more long-awaited game coming soon. It’s the one, the only, GoldenEye 007 available with online play! Nintendo may not have revealed a date for this but it’s good to know that a beloved classic is finally on its way to the Switch.
Now we’ll have to wait and see if Nintendo goes further with emulated ports from their previous consoles. With rumours of potential for a Game Boy library, the Switch may just become the ultimate retro meets modern console!
