Pokémon Games Top 3DS Chart on Nintendo eShop as Service Winds Down

The Nintendo 3DS and WiiU eShop closure is just around the corner and many Pokémon titles and more are making it to the top of the weekly sales chart in North America.

Pokémon Crystal is currently taking the lead, with other virtual console titles maintaining high ranks in the eShop charts. Second after Pokémon Crystal is Pokémon Red followed by Pokémon Yellow. It certainly is a great time for those final purchases if you’re a Pokémon fan or are looking to get into the older titles of the series.

Capcom games have also had their fair share of limelight in these charts with Resident Evil, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney and Monster Hunter titles coming in at number 8 and below with last-minute sales. Here is the entire list of the top 20 at the moment via Nintendo Everything:

With the eShop officially closing on the 27th March 2023, it is recommended to download the Pokémon Bank app on the 3DS to allow you to download it after closure. The service currently runs on tiered subscription, but after eShop closure, it will be completely free!
