Physical Copies of Taito Milestones for Nintendo Switch Available for Preorder

Retro compilation Taito Milestones is now available to pre-order for Nintendo Switch.

Following news of special limited editions in November 2021, ININ Games has announced that the boxed edition of Taito Milestones for Nintendo Switch can now be pre-ordered at selected retailers in Europe!

This collection of 10 groundbreaking classics spans multiple genres. It includes a puzzle game, platformer, sports game, shooters, run-and-gun, and a side-scrolling beat-em-up.

1981 QIX: Puzzle Game. Draw lines as the “Marker” and capture areas by encircling them. Watch out for enemies while moving around!
1983 Chack’n Pop: Platformer. Hang in there, Chack’n! Get back the hearts from the thieving Monsta.
1981 Space Seeker: Shooter. Check the map screen for steadily approaching enemies, intercept the air force strategically, and strike the mobile fortress!
1983 Elevator Action: Spy Platform-Shooter Action. Infiltrate a building as a spy on a solo mission, get all secret documents and make your escape!
1982 Alpine Ski: Sports Game. Enter the stage of the world of snow and take part in three competitions: Downhill ski, slalom and ski jump!
1985 The FairyLand Story: Platformer. As the witch Ptolemy, you have to defeat the monsters deep inside the castle!
1982 Front Line: Run-and-Gun. Push forward to the enemy camp as a foot soldier! Drive tanks and armored vehicles!
1986 Halley’s Comet: Vertical Space Shooter. Halley’s comet is headed for the planets of our solar system. Destroy the computer at its center!
1982 Wild Western: Wild West Shooter. Defeat the gangs attacking from all directions with your trusty rifle! You are the law!
1987 The Ninjawarriors: Side-scrolling Beat ’Em Up Action. Advance into enemy territory as an android ninja to crush the evil Banglar’s ambitions!

This is a collection that brings some key titles from the old coin-op arcade days to the Nintendo Switch. Many of these have been overlooked by Taito in favour of its Space Invaders catalogue over the past few years. However, while none of these are as legendary, they remain memorable and influential in their own way. As such, this is a collection that you shouldn’t miss.
