Funstock Fights Scalpers, Re-opens Evercade EXP Black Pre-orders

Last Updated on June 1, 2024

As you may know, there are two versions of Evercade’s upcoming EXP handheld. The Evercade EXP Black is a limited edition, while the standard white model is what will hit stores.

At least, that’s how it was planned. But Funstock has taken a look at things, and in its attempts to defeat the scalpers has been able to cancel various orders. Consequently, Funstock is now offering a second opportunity to grab the Evercade EXP Black!

Here’s how they put it on the website:

EXP Black Limited Edition is a limited one-time release that began in June. While we did sell out of units, through cancellations and obvious scalping among other reasons, we are now able to re-open pre-orders for this Limited Edition console on a first-come, first-served basis.

What is the Evercade EXP Black?

Like the earlier Evercade VS, the Evercade EXP was announced with two versions: the black limited edition and the white, “common” model.

If you pre-order the Evercade EXP Black Limited Edition bundle you will get:

  • EXP Black Console
  • Certificate of Authenticity
  • 2 x Art Cards
  • Capcom Collection Manual
  • Toaplan Arcade 1 Cartridge
  • IREM Arcade 1 Cartridge
  • 2 x A3 Double-Sided Posters
  • USB to USB-C Cable
  • Exclusive EXP Keyring
  • Hard Carry Case
  • EXP Limited Edition Box

Clearly it’s a nice collection, complete with the Toaplan and IREM carts and the pre-installed Capcom games. You can pre-order Funstock’s scalper-beating Evercade EXP Black now for £179.99 direct from the website. Meanwhile, the “standard” edition costs from £129.99 from the same website, with various bundles available.
