Evercade EXP Pre-Order Date Announced

It’s been a bit of a wait, but the pre-order date for the upcoming Evercade EXP handheld has been announced.

This is the date on which it is possible to order the third Evercade console from Blaze Entertainment, which adds a bunch of new features to and a new design. This includes a larger IPS display, Wi-Fi, and four hour battery life, among other enhancements.

And that date is… September 6th, 2022 – less than a month th away!

According to the mail out to anyone who signed up for updates, Blaze’s development team has been focusing in the EXP recently, resu,ing in fewer big fixes in the Evercade VS. “Normal service will be resumed soon,” we are assured.

The Evercade EXP features a redesigned user interface, TATE (vertical) play mode, and various other refinements that have been a focus for the dev team.

Beyond the hardware, more global shipping options have been established, which should mean a global, simultaneous launch for the Evercade EXP.

While the intended release date remains under wraps, there will be an announcement on September 2nd, 2022 to confirm the pre-orders time slot and the EXP’s release date. Information about bonus content for the Evercade EXP will also be unveiled.

Meanwhile, build and feature previews will be likely, as press and media will be getting early access to the Evercade EXP, and the console will be seen at Ganescom 2022.
